Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme
PSS have managed to achieve and remain compliant with this incredibly highly thought of scheme. Not only does this ensure we employ good practice, ensure we comply with the standards set out by the FORS standard, but also demonstrates that PSS have dedication towards driver and vehicle safety. PSS are also continuously improving operating practices through the monitoring of fuel and tyre usage, which in directly has a positive effect on the workplace and the environment we live in.
Another vigorous process of pre-qualification helping PSS identify, assess, qualify and monitor suppliers throughout the supply chain. This is beneficial to PSS by; pushing promotion on a larger scale, ensuring compliance is maintained and refreshed as and when legislation changes. The Contractor Health and Safety Assessment Scheme
PSS ensure its health and safety competence by putting ourselves through the yearly assessment of CHAS. With a maintenance period of over 2 year PSS show a high level of competence when it comes to the health, safety and welfare of its employees, supply chain and customers.

Permission for Commercial Operations
To operate a UAV ("Drone") for commercial operations you require a PfCO issued by the CAA. In order to receive this permission the pilot has to demonstrate a sufficeient understanding of aviation (airmanship, airspace, aviation law and good flying practice) and also pass a practical flight assessment. In addition a Flight Operations Manual has to be submitted and approved. Our pilots hold a certificate of Competence in Remote Pilot Theoretical Knowledge / General Airmanship in addition to a practical Flight Assesment from a CAA approved NQE.
